Half a Month Already???

Wow! It sure is amazing to think that just under 3 weeks ago we had little miss Addilyn. It's also crazy to think that she wasn't actually due until this upcoming Sunday. Wow!!! I seriously can't imagine what it would have been like to have this baby still inside me for the past 2 weeks and 4 days!! Whew...thank goodness she was early! lol.

There's so much to update on, it's hard to know where to start. I am sorry that I haven't done a good job of keeping everyone posted, however, I finally finished school on Tuesday, so I should have a little more free time these days! lol.

Addie is amazing. She's sleeping good, eating great, and well...colb and I have decided that she's pretty much the perfect baby!!! As I sit here and type this at 10:37, she's asleep on my chest. Does it get any better than this? I'm guessing probably not!!!

Yesterday, (Wednesday) was our 2 week check up appointment, and she's growing like a little piggy. At birth she was 6 lbs and 9.5 oz and 20 in. yesterday she was 7 lbs 9.5 oz and 21.5 in!!! I didn't realize that she would grow so much so quickly. I am bottle feeding as I was worried about teaching and doing so much pumping at school, however the bottle has worked great for us. Colb is able to help me out at night and we are able to switch off on late night/early morning feedings. We did have our belly button cord fall off yesterday as well, so it was great giving her a bath this evening and not having to worry about that dumb thing. That sure was nice!!!

Tomorrow evening after colb gets off work we are going back to chillicothe area and are having our first professional family pictures taken. I'm pretty excited---I just hope that she cooperates! lol.

This picture was taken after our bath this past Sunday. She was soooo relaxed. She loves to take a bath. We had to take this picture to show off her WAY cute, and a little big slippers!!! She made it look good though!
This picture was taken when she was about a week and 1/2 old. We were taking 5 generation pictures and colb picked a rose out of my garden and put it behind her ear.

This picture was taken lastnight. We had her all propped up to take a picture to put into the paper and colb was playing playstation. Sure is nice of him to be willing to share his controller don't you think?
This picture was taken this afternoon. Since our cord finally fell off, this was the first opportunity for a little "tummy time". She loved it. Although it ended in a nap. I think that we still had a good time. lol We'll go for a little longer tomorrow!!!
