Our Sunday Evening...
Tonight, anyone that would have come over to our house would have thought that Cohlby and I have started the "nesting phase" of my pregnancy. Not only did he finish putting on the new shingles on the roof, but he found time to help me hang the newly painted letters for Addilyn's name on the wall. I also decided that it was a great night for cleaning out my closet and the basement. I took out all of my clothes that officially "don't fit" anymore and placed them away for a few months when I WILL get back into them. lol. We had a good time tonight and I don't know about Colb but I really feel like we're accomplishing things these days. I have attached a few pictures so you can see a little bit more of what we're slowly getting done in Addie's room.
Cohlby is SO excited to start hanging up all the letters...can't you tell! lol He's such a good dad!
Cohlby wore out pretty easy. As you can see below...he only got one letter hung before deciding that he needed to take a break. (I'm pretty sure that his "break" had a little something to do with his Ax Men showing being back on from a commercial) lol.

This is the completed project. We placed her name letters on the west wall of her room. (Obviously, it's above the changing table and next to the clock. LoL)
These are some of the clothes that I took out of my closet tonight. Some of these will get boxed up and saved for "post-pregnancy", and others will go to Goodwill. It's a little sad how unfull my closet is now, but will be good because Addie and I will now be able to share closet space.

One step closer...
Well, this past weekend Cohlby and I went and purchased a dresser for Addie's room. Not only did we go to two stores before we were able to get it, but at the end of the day, we had the box in the back of the car ready for daddy to put it together. So, lastnight as I was watching Desperate Housewives Colb and Brian (a friend of ours) put together the 30 piece dresser. They did a great job and it looks amazing in her room. (doesn't quite match, but who will look that close...really?!?) lol I will upload some pictures tonight of the room.. With the new dresser it looks completely different! Woo hoo...one thing down and only a million more to go before Little Miss Addilyn gets here!
We just found out this morning that Colb's cousin and his wife had their daughter this morning. She was born around 3 am. So..CONGRATS to them. I think that we'll go down this evening and see her and the family.
I have started working on a few things for school for next year. Nothing too crazy right now, just little odds and ends things. This is exciting to get to work on, however a little nerve racking that I can't get in and really start working on my classroom. Since I'll be one of the new classrooms (that is still being built) it makes it hard to know when exactly I will actually be able to get into my room. We'll see hopefully it won't be 2 weeks before school starts! lol.

Into the 3rd Trimester
Well ladies and gentlemen, we have entered the third trimester. In about 12 short weeks, we will finally get to meet the little lady that has been doing cartwheels in my stomach. I had my 28 week check-up today and Dr. Goeking says, things are right on track. This was also my glucose appointment and as gross as it was to drink that orange sugar drink, it really wasn't all that bad. I went this past monday to Hillyard Tech School and had a free ultrasound done. It was amazing to see how much Addie has grown in the past 7 weeks. I'll do my best to figure out how to post some pictures on here so you can see her pretty face!
