Yup, you read correctly, we have entered the 5 week countdown phase in this pregnancy. Who am I kidding? I think that I've been counting down for the past 9 months! lol.
This past weekend was Crazy Busy!!! But, we had a great time! Friday my mom flew into town (because of my baby shower on saturday) However, it was also my sister Megan's 19th Birthday. We had a good time shopping and just hanging out...pretty much all day. As some would say, we shopped until we dropped. At least I did anyway! lol. Saturday I got up and couldn't resist going to a few garage sales since it was Savannah's City-Wide Garage sale day. I found a couple of bargains, so that was fun!!! Then Saturday afternoon was the baby shower. Wow, did we get a ton of good stuff. There was so much stuff we had to leave the stroller at Grandma Joni's house until we could pick it up later. We were, pretty packed!!! But we made it home, and 8 1/2 hours later (yes we stopped working for meal breaks and a trip to st.joe to...get more stuff) I really think the room is finally complete! I sure can't think of anything else that we "have to have" before little miss Addilyn gets here. If you're around you'll have to stop by and see our house, it's changed quit a bit since this past weekend. I think colb was just happy that you can see the living room floor again, from all the boxes and trash that we accumulated from all the shower gifts! This is me at the shower, I was really excited about my new dress. Colb didn't really like it though, he thought that I belonged in Africa or something. But it sure was cool and comfy. Which is worth more than anyone could imagine at this point...dang humidity!
Addilyn's new room. We added the corner cabinet (A bakers rack) and I got the mobile at one of the garage sales! All we're really missing now, are some curtains. Hopefully we'll get those at the last shower that is coming up this Friday night. 
This is the dresser, filled with sooo many great books. It was exciting to put them all away and have so many different ones!!! Thanks so much if you've helped add to the library...
This I think is my favorite part of the room. The quilt that is hanging on the wall is a quilt that was made for Addilyn by MY great-grandma (Addie's Great-Great Grandma) it is of bonnet babies and then she added many other things to the quilt by hand. It was amazing. The other quilt (that is laying on the chair) was made by Ruthi Woods. She is a long-time friend of the Jones'. When asked what kind of quilt I wanted I told her Airplanes (because colb is such an airplane freak) And...I thought that we were having a boy. lol. So, one sonogram later, and finding out that we were having a girl, we kept the airplane idea and yes, there are pink propellers!
This is just another view of the changing table, we got a little shelf to put the wipe warmer in and those little baskets were 50% off. woo hoo. I'm always up for a good bargain! lol
